Hi and welcome to bobteamspring.com.  This is the official website for the Canada II men's bobsleigh team piloted by me, Christopher Spring, a Vancouver 2010 Olympian.

On this website you will find up to date results from my bobsleigh season, bio's from present and past team members, video and pictures from my team throughout the years and information on how you can become a part of my team.  And on top of all of this is my blog, it's a place where I share my teams stories, our triumphs and defeats, and a regular place for me to let loose and allow you to view the world through my eyes.

I invite you to come join my team, introduce yourself and be a part of our journey.  We would love to share our experiences with you on the road to the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.

Spring training update

We started back with of season training at the end of March and I was glad to get back into the gym.  The majority of the national team are here in Calgary training with the out of towners slowly making their way back to Calgary to join the team again for off season training.  This time of the year generally brings the toughest training for us with the focus being on building a base for the seasons training so although it is very difficult, it is necessary and very rewarding in the long run...read more
Season 2012/2013 wrap up

The 2012/2013 season started just the way I wanted it to, successfully.  I had a new(ish) team and at our third stop on tour in Whistler, the team won our first World Cup medal.  Just thinking about that day makes me grateful for what we had accomplished...read more
Sochi training and World Cup

With just 1 year left until the Olympics, it is only fitting that we are here in Sochi competing for one last podium in the hopes that we can repeat this performance one year later at the big show.  There have been so many expectations leading into this event, a lot of people asking themselves question about the area, the track, the venues, the food and over the last week and a half we have had the opportunity to get those questions answered...read more
